Rotatek open house draws 120 visitors
In late September the Spanish press manufacturer Rotatek held an open house at its headquarters in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). The event was dedicated to label and flexible packaging printing, and the company presented its latest press models and other equipment.
Visitors were treated to demonstrations of the new Combi press, which combines offset and flexo printing and is designed for production of labels, flexible packaging, commercial printing, mailers and other printing applications. The press featured five offset and one flexo printing unit, UV curing from Hönle, cold foil stamping, embossing and rotary diecutting, and an automatic ink fountain and register control system with video camera from Eltromat.
Also on display were the Newflex 330, a rotary flexo press, and the RTK 330 label slitter rewinder, which is equipped with a rotary diecutting station. A printing unit is also available.
About 120 professionals visited the Rotatek facilities during the three-day event. The majority came from Spain, but others were from Bulgaria, France, Italy, Germany and Israel.
